How much does this service cost?
This service is completely free of charge. Our fees are always charged to the supplier that you choose.
How can alternative suppliers provide the same utilities at lower cost?
Alternative suppliers are far leaner organisations, with lower overheads, which reflects on the lower costs to the customer.
How often are the tariffs updated?
If you are in a contract your price will remain unchanged until the contract termination date. This excludes any increases imposed by statuary bodies.
How long does it take to switch suppliers?
Switching suppliers takes on average 6 to 8 weeks. However, various things can change this, for example if you are still in contract with another supplier, or if the new supplier does not have all information that they require to complete the switch.
If I do change supplier, will any of my supply equipment need changed?
No. Your gas, electricity, and telecom's will still be supplied to you through your existing equipment. The only difference will be who supplies you and the reduction in costs to you.
Who is responsible for safety and maintenance?
Although you now have a choice of companies to supply utilities, it will still be the responsibility of your regional supplier to provide a safety and maintenance programme.
If I change gas supplier, will my central heating service contract be affected?
No. whoever you have your contract with, will still honour it, regardless of who supplies the gas.
